Some of my least favorite products will also be discussed so you don't have to go through the decision making and possibly find out the hard and expensive way about their quality and effects. C.E.T.
Dental Products

C.E.T offers feline and canine products ranging from dental chews, to oral rinses to toothpaste. Tending to your pets teeth is extremely important. By using C.E.T products as preventative dental care, it can save you money and distress to your pet.
I liked the C.E.T chews for dogs. They are great and safe treats and work on keeping your dog teeth free of tartar build up.
The Cat toothbrush and toothpaste are easy to use and the cats love the flavorful taste.

Hills Prescription Diet t/d
for Cats and Dogs

Available from your local Vet, t/d is also known as the "edible tooth brush".
Its special fiber blend scrubs the exposed tooth surface preventing tartar and plaque build up which can lead to dental disease and “doggy and kitty breath.” 

J Cloth

Pat a dab of pet toothpaste (from C.E.T) on one of these and brush your pets' teeth. Only brush the outside of the teeth. This is a lot easier than using a toothbrush.

* Do not use human toothpaste! Dogs and cats can't 'spit'.

We were out boating one day and noticed a little white buoy floating in
the water and thought, odd, what is that buoy doing out in the middle of the lake? We then realized the little buoy was my friends dog who jumped out of the boat. Right after that is when I bought an Outward Hound life jacket for my dog. She now wears her jacket at all times when she's on a boat.
Oh! We did save the little white dog. He now wears a life jacket too!

Keeping your dog dry and warm on those cold rainy days while out for a walk! The jacket comes with a removeable hood for that extra protection making your dog a much happier puppy!

Now I have to admit, I have not used this product nor have I had anyone recommend it to me. But I thought that it was such a great way to get out and exercise with your dog that I wanted to put it on here. Pet Food Dishes

Metal pet dishes are better for your
pet. They don't harbor nasty diseases and bacteria like plastic bowls. Offered in a variety of shapes and sizes, you use them from the largest of dogs to the smallest of pets.
The best one I found for my dog was the bowls with non-skid bottoms.

Brushes

Slicker brushes work well on any coat. Grooming your pet with this brush helps reduce the shedding and helps keep your house free of unwanted pet hair. It also helps keep your pet more comfortable, keep a shiny coat and keep them cooler during those hot summer days.

Kongs

These are great toys when you need
to leave your pet, big or small, at
home alone. Fill it with cheese whiz, peanut butter or any favorite treat, it will keep your pet entertained for
hours, preventing boredom and any destructive behavior.
A great water toy for the dog that loves to swim is the Cool Kong. It is easy to throw and it floats too!

Kongs come in a variety of colors and sizes so choose the right one for your pet.

Allergroom is a moisturizing, hypo-allergenic shampoo that is fragrance and soap free. Its mild formula is safe enough for cats and dogs of any age and leaves their coat shiny, soft and clean. Finish off with the Humilac Spray.

Humilac Spray is a great follow up product after the Allergroom shampoo. It helps keep your pets skin moisturized and gives their coat a shine without that greasy feeling.
